The Banyan Tree

There was once a time, in the forest of dreams, where a banyan tree lived and thrived.
With a vision so pure, it was tough to endure, the thought of power's lure. It shall be said the blue jay reigned, with a method so simple as autonomy. It did persist, I must insist, I was just not prepared for the twist. The blue jay prompted the hummingbird up, as wings took flight over walls. The tree was left, amidst many friends the basic ray of hope. As walls were built while others were struck with the axis and arms of jove. The Owl often loud, despite its thought, the predator cautioned strong. Left alone it rested along, and spent the long nights in thought. When the time came for the banyan's fate, the birds of the sky began their game. The hummingbird, with its wings so quick, made the initial pathway fit. As word and opinion paved the way, the route to glory was set in brick. The owl knew the dove  well, in reverse the same claim would melt. The choice was between the birds of thought, the dove, was in the geist of it all. Should nature have its way? or the word of the blue jay to obey. If its will be done, the passion of growth will fade away. An inertia of regularity, twas  amity, the best is never yet to be. If the die be cast, shall the owl know how? A genuine smile with a final bow. If the birds of choice were to rise above the canopy, glory behold for our home, the banyan tree.
