The indestructable soul?

In hinduism, the soul is often refered to as "indestructable". What the hindus interpret the vedas as is that since the soul cant be destroyed, it takes its place in other peoples bodies once the previous person who was occupying it dies.

However i haev a more vali explanation as to why the vedas claims the soul is indestructable.
What are human beings?
We are basically made up of many many cells which are each performing a specific function in order to keep us "alive". When we talk, write, type, sing, move or in fact, do anything, there is always a chemical reaction involved.
The indestructable soul which is mentioned in the vedas could actually just refer to atoms.

Let me explain:

We human beings are made of many many many atoms right?
So since atoms cannot be destroyed... when we die and are either cremated or burried, the atoms which were part of us once, will be recycled in forming a new compund or even a part of a plant, human being. The similar concept is observed when certain hindus claim that the soul's move from 1 person to another when the first person dies.
